Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Huge news
Thoughts on McConkey and Edwards. Both have great feet, create separation and have ability to catch ball from the slot or out of the backfield. Seems to be important in Monken offense.
I knew Ladd McConkey reminded me of someone and I finally figured it out. I can see Ladd being for UGA what Berrios was for Miami. He was a weapon in the slot and on returns, not the fastest guy in the world but he always found a way to create separation and make plays. What do y’all think?

There’s always room for a guy like that- the guy you always go to when you need that crucial first down because he always makes the play.
I’m down for that.
@JeffSentell nailed this one! HBTFD!
Finish with Jones, Van Pran-Granger, McConkey, and (Branch or ???)...
...and Evans in the summer!!
I like this.. Jones SVP Ladd and ZE(BPA)in summer. Not sure if we have room for 4 unless Ladd or ZE count against 2021 numbers. Was wondering if Ladd could start as PWO on hope and count as gray shirt for 2021. I asked Denman about this on his thread but not heard back.
I've said before that I think Ladd will be a Gray shirt but pay his own way until January thus counting as a 2021 initial. As long as he is a full time student in the Fall he could play this year but not if part time. ZE can only play 2020 if he is a 2020 initial as he was sent and signed a NLI plus i'm pretty sure that he has been visited off campus at some time.
I’ve been thinking lately that Ladd could be our Hunter Renfrow. Maybe I’m crazy
Seen that comparison several times now. I'm not very familiar with Renfrow. What specifically do you find similar?
I read where Jonas Jennnings is acting as a coach for recruiting purposes since we are down a coach. I wonder if Kirby has not named the final coach so that Jonas can keep recruiting Jones. After signing day, I bet he will name the final coach quickly.
Are we still recruiting Burch?
Ladd McConkey to me looks like the kind of good athlete that you occasionally see slip through the cracks to service academies or small schools more than Hunter Renfrow. Reason I go that way first is because he was just about to do what I mentioned. He was going to be your next Malcolm Perry, Keenan Reynolds, Kelvin Hopkins Jr (he was pretty good in his first year), or Andy Isabella, and so on.
Different comp, but I do like him and see him as a take, and I suppose since now he’s potentially going to a big school instead of what I alluded, maybe the masses can stick with he might be our Hunter Renfrow. I think he actually could be better though with the training. Think he’d be a try to redshirt (although his return ability might not let that happen), work on strength training and refining routes for 2020, then fight for a job in the WR rotation in 2021.
You might be on to something
