Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

The ones I wore were old school, black, covered the ears completely, with a lot of rubber/foam cushion to create an airtight seal. I believe it was the first generation with the noise cancellation. Apparently they run about $600 today.
Yeah, I wear hearing aids so I obviously can't wear ear buds. They're amazing. Mine are silver but where they say "Bose" on the sides, it's that rose gold color as well as the soft earphone parts. Perhaps I can replace those pieces another color but, meh.

That's a great Maxell tape ad from the 70's. I knew a lot of people who had that poster hung in their rooms.
Styx -- "I've Got Too Much Time On My Hands"
Slow hand.
Merger....was my original intention
I remember that. It was usually put up in 8x10 foot rooms filled up with huge speakers!
Right now I'm listening to a band called Earthless, from San Diego. The song 'Uluru Rock'. Isaiah Mitchell is ripping on guitar!
Boom
Ok casanova ....gave your list a listen....
I listened to:
Ganga - 1000 yrs old
Never men, boards of Canada - mr mistake....really liked .. .sounds a little like coldplay
Monte La Rue - Adeus
The new mastersounds - pudding &pie.....liked it as well... a little 60's vibe
Pig & one - friday freaks.
Very interesting stuff..
If you're interested take a listen to some of my play list:
Lyle Lovett - ballad of the snow leopard and the tanqueray cowboy
Jimmy LaFave - never is a moment
Robert Earl Keen - rolling by
Charlie Robison - Loving County.....probably my all time favorite song
Guy Clark - the guitar
Bleu Edmondson - finger on the trigger.. warning...this song is dark and pg 18.
Just a sample of what I listen to the most. But I enjoy a lot of different types of music.
@texdawg As you would imagine from my playlist, I don't swipe in the country lane too often, but do like some Honky Tonk stuff. I've always appreciated Lyle Lovett's voice.
I liked that song. Nice guitar work from Guy Clark on that tune... brought a smile to my face.
I think my favorite on your list was from Bleu Edmondson.
Earlier today I was listening to an interesting album called 'Serenitay Infinitay' from DF Tram. If you like something that starts off slow and works its way into a great groove then I recommend 'Shy Grass' by Blond:ish. Very cool tune.
Will listen to "shy grass". Your taste in music is eclectic for sure. But some of it is really good.
Almost didn't put the Bleu Edmondson song on there. Very dark.
My favorite band of all time is Thievery Corporation. I've never come across a group with a more diverse portfolio of music. I've seen them twice in concert and they're very good.
I'll give them a listen
In terms of their signature sound my recommendation would be Holographic Universe off of It Takes A Thief. That's a great album.
Your music genre certainly wins for creativity on band names and song titles.
