I had no idea the Falcons signed Josh Rosen. He's a much more intriguing back up option than McCarron or Franks. Kudos to new GM Terry Fontenot.
I didn’t know that either. Very interesting!
I wasn’t aware they had Rosen either. He looks pretty good, especially for only having been there a short time.
With the Falcons offensive line, we may need to carry five QBs on the roster or sign Iron Man to the team. This year’s results could make last year look like a championship year.
Atlanta is his fourth stop (I think). Jury is in on Josh Rosen at this point.
Agree. There's a reason he's looked at as a back-up. Supposedly a smart QB - who knows ? with the right coach./system/culture? Nah.
Fifth stop, and I still find him much more intriguing than McCarron or Franks.
I like the former Arkansas qb.
Speaking for myself…I think he is who he is at this point. MccArron is out all year so it may work out.
The Falcons r some kind of funny man. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Fromm was down here competing to replace the Ultra-Vanilla Matt Ryan in a couple of years. YIKES! Thats not a play on Ryans race either, just his Bland Old School skillet and leadership style. Wouldn't be a bad thing if we **** again this year and can b in prime position to select Spencer Rattler who has plenty of Pat Mahomes in him would b a great young QB to pair with Kyle Pitts and Calvin Ridley for 8-10 years. Gotta feeling the Boo Birds and are gonna keep Ryan around until he's 50 before they realize he's no Tom Brady. Apparently they've yet to figure that out. And just think of who we could've had with that #4 pick. The Falcons are seriously funny man trust me, I've been watching them closely for 43 years. Just amazing! 😂😂😂
It doesn't seem to me like Rosen has a real interest in football. Even in college he seemed almost disinterested in the game.
Agree. He seemed to be into philosophy almost . Have heard him described as extremely intelligent. Haven't seen his Mensa scores or anything bit I have read it somewhere long ago.
His father is a surgeon, Josh's first love was tennis, he was never close to teammates. He's a bit of a fish out of water in football locker rooms. An odd fact, each of the 3 NFL teams Rosen was with before The Falcons ( not counting TB where he spent part of an offseason) took other QBs in the top 5 while he was still on roster, Arizona with the 1st overall pick, the next year Miami at #5 then S.F. at #3 this year. Maybe The Falcons will take one in 2022.
Ryan weill have HOF numbers if he can produce a few more years though.
Agreed. Ryan has his faults, but he’s never been the issue in Atlanta.
