Always argumentative and arrogant. People get mad at mike Griffith but I can tolerate him way easier than the smugness of Riley. The question he asked Smart in the presser is a prime example.

Full press conference. Question comes near the end, at 19:33.
I don't read Connor any more. He only re-gurgitates what others have written earlier in the week. Nothing original - which might be a good thing. I do read pretty much all of what Mike writes and his "preachiness" seems to have waned a good bit from earlier in his stay in Dawg Nation. I still shake my head on occasion at some of what he writes, but much less as time has gone on.

And neither writes worth a crap. I mean just poor English, bad grammar, run-on sentences, misspellings, just simple stuff we were taught in grade school, Worst best writers on any forum.

@FitzgeraldDawg Just stop -- the media is doing its job asking questions that the fans want to know. Connor was not out of line -- no one was. If Kirby chooses to be aggressive with the media, he's entitled to do that, too. But none of those questions were inappropriate -- Kirby just likes to get confrontational, it's his nature. Again, nothing wrong with that. But he could choose to handle the questions differently. Asking about the health of one of the top QBs in the nation is not a bad thing -- especially when you consider UGA is one of the very few programs that does not allow the media to watch any practice.
It's amazing how fans are critical of media for "not asking the tough questions," and then turn around and get critical when a question is asked that the coach doesn't like -- but that readers spend all week asking us about.
I wrote on Wednesday Daniels could be limited, and I was subjected to several personal attacks. It was ridiculous. The Georgia fanbase, by and large, is as classy as any I've been around in the 28 years I've covered college football.
But some of the "fake screen name" people are having some misplaced anger issues here. I can tell you Connor works seven days a week to cover Georgia, and while no one is perfect -- certainly not me -- there has been a great commitment to provide good coverage of Georgia football.
So, please, stop ripping people for doing their jobs -- save your criticism for someone else.
To be fair, I don't think Connor was asking about the health of JT. He was asking Kirby about why he got so aggravated with questions about JT. It seemed to be a little bit of a jab at Kirby in my opinion. If the press want to pick at Kirby after a big win I guess they'll get a reaction.
And Kirby was already asked several questions about JT already. He clearly stated he wanted to talk about the guys that played and helped get a big win. Especially since he already gave an update on JT.
Connor ignored the advice, which is his prerogative, but can’t be surprised with how Kirby answered. Kirby already answered Connor’s question earlier in the press conference. He was frustrated about the JT questions because he wanted to talk about the guys that played yesterday. Hopefully Connor pays better attention next press conference so he doesn’t waste his question on something that was already answered.
If Kirby wanted his players to get more attention he could make them available for interviews, or better yet, allow media to request who they want to talk to after games.
Then, guys like Dan Jackson and Zamir White could be requested and interviewed about the great games they played, or Devonte Wyatt.
Or Kirby could allow position coaches to talk, which would enable them to talk about more players performing well in their group.
Please stop judging a process you do not understand.
It was odd for Kirby to be rude to Charles Odum, one of the kindest, most well-respected journalists in the nation, earlier in that press conference.
JT Daniels' health is a major part of the story and Kirby triggered the speculation by telling ESPN before kickoff it would depend on his warmups. It was logical to ask about it.
Are we in a country now where you want the person conducting the press conference to control all the questions?

Amen. Connor, and Mike both add to a great crew here in the DawgNation. No one is ever perfect, but they (@MikeGriffith and @Kconnorriley) both do their dead level absolute 110% best to bring all of us FREE NEWS and FREE content about the team that we all love. I am so very happy and grateful with the writings, and the reporting of the entire DawgNation crew. GO DAWGS!!!

I understand what you are talking about, but we all know that Kirby wants to control the narrative as much as possible. I can imagine in your job that is aggrevating. However, re-asking (or asking) a question that Kirby has already covered or said he does not want to address does nothing for the interview.
As for your reporting/ writing. I enjoy it. I know that your are either going to report what needs to be reported, or you are going to give your honest opinion of a situation. Keep up the good work.
Connor and Mike have more public jobs than most of us.
Those that don’t criticize those who do.
I am glad that my work is not so scrutinized.
