Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Dang. I forgot about Linda R - IMHO the greatest female singer of her time - any kind of music from folk, to country to rock to Tejano to opera. Sad she can no longer perform.
Amen! Loved her since the Stone Poneys days!
If you want a treat….get the Trio and Trio II CDs or downloads, however you do it. Its Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmy Lou Harris….. Their harmony is unforgettable!
Enjoy!
Much better
Samantha Fox…you had to have googled that.
I’m older than you think
At least he didn’t say Boy George…and who doesn’t love “wake me up before you go-go”
I remember from her “modeling” days…..didn’t know she could sing too! 🥴🤣
Yeah, well, that era (and most of the stuff since) is relatively garbage 🤣… is that because it is a little late for me? By ‘85 I had stopped listening to then current stuff… got away from 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s stuff and was listening to Sinatra… Sade was current at that time and she was pretty good for dating material...
All time? The Eagles, Bob Seger, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, James Taylor, the Rolling Stones, ACDC, Kansas, etc. … and yeah, Heart was awesome too (@Bdw3184)! 😎
No way. A Page 3 legend!
That was it!!!
1. Garth Brooks
2. John Mellencamp
3. Brooks and Dunn
4. Hank Williams Jr
5. Anything but disco.
Queensryche was one of the more under appreciated bands in the 80s-90s. Operation:mindcrime could have been a movie if someone had chosen to write it. Definitely one of my top 5.
Metallica with Master of Puppets, And Justice for All and the black album.
Megadeth.. even had the MTV news theme song Peace sells. Have to thank Metallica for kicking Dave out.

Alice Cooper
Metallica
Iron Maiden
SRV
The Cult
Def Leppard
Samantha was VERY popular in the new papers in England when I was there.
I wore out my Queesryche tapes back then. To this day when one of their songs comes on it reminds me of driving around Washington State in college. Weird thing is I can't stand it anymore.
I noticed there are a lot of headbangers on here. Might want to consider checking out the Headbanger's Ball Facebook page. It's a lot of fun. So many great memories and awesome videos shared. I loved that show back in the day.
