I'm sure that is the plan. For the time being just work on his stuff and build his confidence up. I'm pretty sure the injury bug will provide starts for him.

Lots of Chicago transplants in ATL. Their fans always show up.

Haven't heard much from them this series. I hate hearing opposing fans cheering in our ballpark.

Don't ever recall having a bench like this one. Whomever Weiss sends out there seems capable of doing the job. They are fun to follow, for sure. I hope Ronald gets back soon and stays healthy. I know that is asking a lot, but….maybe the baseball gods will give us a solid?

This team just seems destined for greatness. 43 games in and we already have a 9-game lead over the 2nd-place Nationals? How crazy is that?

Off topic, but I was looking back at Hank Aaron's career. He was a 2-time MVP including 1957 when the Milwaukee Braves won the world Series. But it was 1959 when Aaron had perhaps his best season with career highs in hits 223, BA .355, 46 doubles, and an amazing 400 total bases, yet finished 3rd in All Star voting behind winner Ernie Banks and teammate Eddie Matthews.

Think about the SS position. Last year we got nothing there all year offensively.

Now we have Kim, Dubon and Mateo. Kim looks pretty good in limited time. Looks like he can pick it. Shown pop in his bat in the past too. Weiss has a lot of combinations he can play because as you mention the bench is so deep.

I like to post about the Braves here but yeah getting tough to know what to say. Other than Holy Shyte they are playing good baseball.

Offense leading the NL in most categories.

Bullpen leading the majors in most categories. Suarez and Iglesias are crushing it.

Starting pitching most nights is excellent and even if it isnt it's good enough to give the team a good chance. Not many if any stinkers in there.

Only thing to complain about it is Murphy and all the pickoffs. Other than that……
