Svaka čast dečki! Hate to loose to the frogs, but it seems like we lost to Cameroon or half of Africa. Home grown Croats fought hard but just ran out of gas. There's more Frenchmen in Flinstone, GA or Krapina, Croatia than there are on the French National Soccer team.

For now - Živjeli Hrvatska!!!!! You guys played your game and left it on the field!

There’s not many Frenchmen on the French team? Seriously or joke?

Oh and BTW, I did love seeing Croatia make it so far. How big is Croatia? I wouldn’t guess it much bigger than the state of Georgia.

@levander This is from Wikipedia: (comparing the size of Croatia, to the size of Georgia) -

Croatia - The territory covers 56,594 square kilometers (or 21,851 square miles).
Georgia - The state has a total area of 154,077 square kilometers (or 59,489 square miles).

Georgia is nearly three times the size of Croatia.

PS- Those guys played their ****** off!!!

Croatia has 4 million - almost all home grown Croats (a couple from Croatian families in other European countries) on their team. They do have four former refugees - FROM CROATIA.

France has 16 recent immigrants out of 23 - typical French names like Mbappe, Pogba, Sidibe, Kante, Dembele, Hernandez, Umtiti, Kempembe, Nzonzi, Fekir, let's just say they or recruit, grant visas speed. Of course, Russia had a Fernandes that wasn't a citizen at the time of the last Eurocup.

And also - their nickname - vatreni means hotblooded or fiery so it always remind me of 'playing with your hair on fire'

Congrats on making it to the final. Pretty cool that you get to experience the excitement from a different part of the world that most of us will never get to do.

Croatia is the best passing team I have ever seen. That was a master class in ball control. They simply got out muscled by the big-boys. That was a great WC finals. Not often you get 6 goals in a soccer game.

At the bar I watched part of the game at, I did. Price a bunch of black guys on the French soccer team. I actually made a comment “not many black guys in France, except on the soccer team...”. There was a guy there who is apparently really liberal, and he launches into a story about how a bunch of blacks moved to France after World War 2 from America, because they noticed how the French don’t racialist and treat people poorly etcetera... When he was done everyone listening just nodded their head at the guy and went off doing other stuff... I figured he was making it up. I just looked on Wikipedia. 90% of France is French-born. They estimate that only like 4% of the French population is black...

Now that you point it out, you could tell something was up just watching the game... I remember watching it thinking, “is that what a Frenchmen looks like?” But I didn’t want to say anything after having had to listen to that **** blacks in WW2 story.

Don't know what liberal has to do with it, but the guy wasn't exactly wrong. Thought this might have been false, but I found this.
