Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

National Cocoa Day
Down here in FL it's quite cool. Down to 37F last night in some spots. So, it seems appropriate to have some nice, hot cocoa. I like mine with little marshmallows floating in the drink. Any of you have favorite recipes? It's a full day on the calendar as it's also: National Violin Day - a little early as our rivals won't… -
High school sports
How do you guys think Covid 19 is going to effect high school sports next year, and how is that going to effect evaluating 2022-2023 recruits? I am fairly certain that kids will be back in school in the fall, but I don't see how we move forward with contact sports until significant progress is made in treatment or a… -
The Correct formatting of new schedules
UGA and the other teams should be granted this new schedule format.. It allows for further delays without jeordizing the division match ups as well as preserves as many previously scheduled dates as possible. 9/26/20 New West Home Opponent 10/3/20 New West Road Opponent 10/10/20 Crossover Rotational Opponent -Bama… -
Re: WATCH: Alabama coaching legend Nick Saban issues dire warning on direction of college football
Actually...I just had an idea. How bout...creating a "40 team Super Conference"...with "4 10-Team Divisions"...East, West, North, South. You would play all 9 of the teams in your division...plus "1 home-and-home" from each of the other 3 divisions, to rotate every other year...for a total of 12 games. At the end of the… -
Re: Georgia football instant observations as Bulldogs best Florida, even with sub-par third quarter
Stet was 19/38 with 2 interceptions, a couple of other throws that easily could have been intercepted, several WAY overthrown balls, and a few drops. He is unreliable as a passer beyond 15 yards. His ceiling has been reached. Great rushing performance and otherwise good play by the offense. Bowers is still a beast and MVP.… -
Re: Carson Beck’s breakout changes everything from national perspective but nothing in Georgia huddle
You just made CKS's "coach speak" argument for him. "you can possibly get it done if your defense is all world". UGA '21 and '22? Check. "Superb QB play". SBIV's play in the 1st 3 Q's (really the whole game) of the '21 NCG was not superb. UGA did not need superb QB play to beat TCU in '22. "Most of those guys went in the… -
Re: Top Florida signee Jaden Rashada reportedly asks for release from school
I'm sorry, I don't buy products based on a 19 year old kid's endorsement. I mean, I like Brock Bowers but his pushing of banking products just seems a bit odd. And I'm glad Matthew Boling like his Dunkin' Donuts coffee, with his picture on their menu sign, but that does not make my decision. I hate the NIL stuff and now it… -
Re: National media questions picking Florida over Georgia to win SEC East
A few thoughts. First, -28 is a pretty stout line vs. Arkansas. Dawgs have traditionally started slowly. While I think that's about to change, I think that fears of Covid-19 will cause Kirby to sub a LOT if UGA jumps out, mainly because unlike other years, the virus could strike at any time and you may be playing a lot… -
Re: DN90: Former Ohio State captain says 'players will think twice' before committing to Big Ten
I do think the B1G will take a recruiting hit. Especially if most other conferences have a season. As a real life example of how I reacted to a cancelation. I get regular ongoing treatment for Migraine headaches. The Hospital where I get treated called me in May and said they were only doing emergency treatment until… -
Re: Why the running back position is the most intriguing for Georgia football spring practice
Can uga win a national championship using 3 or 4 different RBs? I've never seen it done that way before. Bama won 5 NCs using practically 2 running backs as you can see below. 2009 Mark Ingram 1658 yards (20 TDs) and Trent Richardson 751 yards (8 TDs) 2011 Trent Richardson 1679 (24 TDs) and Eddie Lacy 674 yards (7 TDs)…
