You're right, but Wilt did put up 69 points against Russell. When Wilt was mad, look out - nobody could stop him.

Wilt's 20,000 number just does not add up if you do the math.

Got me there brother. Russell did have the better team and didn’t have to try and score every point.

Johnson started out by trading D'Angelo Russell For Brook Lopez, who he let go with no return months later. He then signed Lonzo Ball who the smart half of the league considered a cancer waiting to metastasize on the team that drafted him. Russell is now a 23 year old all star and Lonzo is still a head case with a bigger head case of a father who is like a boil on The Lakers' collective arse.

Lebron went to The Lakers because his kids go to school there and he wanted the business opportunities Magic laid out for him. If winning more titles was his biggest concern, he'd be a Sixer now.

Orlando. The Celtics first title was in Russell's rookie season. He sprinted the length of the floor to block a basket that would have put St. Louis ahead with seconds to go in the 7th game of the finals. The Hawks HC was bitter and proclaimed he still had the better team. The only reason they won was because they had Russell he proclaimed. Russell won 2 college titles for a S.F. program that never won before or since. He then turned The Celtics into the greatest dynasty in NBA history by winning 11 out of his 13 years there. He was injured the 2 years they didn't win titles.

Russell didn't win because he had a better team than Wilt, he won because he made them better.

This. ^^ If he started at 15, like he claimed, he would have had to have had 2 women a day from then until he made the claim in his book. I call BS.

To be fair Russell was also a cancer for the Lakers after he posted that video of Nick Young admitting to cheating on his fiancee without permission

Edit: Russell posted the video without permission. Young obviously cheated without permission

Yale. Thanks, I'd forgotten about that event. That was probably a death knell for Russell with The Lakers.
