    Don't disagree.

Assuming everyone is healthy how do you see the front 4 starting vs Florida?

    Davis - 0

Carter - 3 (are we sure it won't be Wyatt)

    T Walker - 5

    Ojulari - Jack

Where does Nolan Smith or JJ fit?

But Georgia doesn't really play a front 5......the 3 -4 base is really a 4-3.....the Sam isn't really on the line.

Its a 3-4 Base with two OLb, with one being closer to a rush end type

  • texdawgtexdawg Posts: 10,330 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

Correct.....the jack OLB is the rush end type. The Sam is the other OLB

JJ at Sam with Mekhail learning that too. Nolan plays a similar rule to this past year.

Happy New Years recruiting nuts! Its nice to have a forum full of like minded crazies that enjoy the recruiting process of our Dawgs as much as I do.

Just to stir up conversation and get some re-assurance. Is it odd that there is no CB movement on Ringo. Has he just been tight lipped. I know he is 100% to UGA but there is zero recent activity. I thought some random heads would start putting in picks for these all-stars announcing.

Ok so what i said then, 3-4 with two OLB types. That is our base defense and everything is built out around from that depending on the offense we are playing. (As we play alot more nickel now with out star position)

Sure.....I just wouldn't call the Sam a front 5......but obviously part of front 7.

And Sam doesn't really play much in Georgia's defense. Ultimately the Star plays more than the Sam.

Yes, as a said above in my edited version. Its a 3-4 base, no matter how you slice it

Not true, Bud Elliot made a pic for Ringo probably 2-3 days ago. The Ringo CB haven’t been flooding in like they have for Evans and Washington, but it’s just that a lot of people put them in for Ringo over the summer. So right now Washington has 18 picks in on 247 compared to Ringo who has 14, with about 3 of them coming post signing day before the allstar game.

Also I think the lack of movement on Ringo and all of the CBs for Manning to Oregon are very telling. The Dawgs are getting their man. After the Allstar games it will be the number 1 class with 2 more spots to fill.

@BKDAWG34 fair enough. Just ready for it to be January 3rd after the dawgs win and pull in all of our remaining targets
