Schumann has also been a big picture guy from day one. He was the only coach other than Saban and Kirby in the room when defensive game plans were made when he was barely in his 20s. When coaches from other schools came to UA it was often Schumann who worked with them. He will be a DC somewhere, I hope it's at UGA.
I’d definitely like an internal promotion if Mel leaves, which he may not. He stayed last year, and may want to wait for best opportunity like Kirby did waiting for UGA.
Schumann is a great coach, he is very young though. Same with lanning.

She's got a voice control issue. She'll almost whisper, then raise her voice and speed up the cadence for no apparent reason.
