Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

During the offseason I create quite a few discussions, but during the season, so much insight has already been laid out there that I’m
just responding to my litternates.
Most times I respond to discussions where I feel my brothers angst and get mad right alongside him. This place is rather cathartic.
Sometimes I wonder why a certain kid isn’t playing as much as he should and I’ll chime in.
I like to talk about food, or what beer I might be drinkin today.
As wrong as it is, it’s still fun to make fun of a poorly conceived post, or a visiting troll. I like it when they keep coming back because they like it here. I think that is commendable.
Jeff,
I am very new to the forum world and I am looking forward to meeting the Dawg community. I am a regular in the Youtube section of the DawgNation Daily chat room and I am excited to see what all goes on in here. I am not a fan of talking in the forum during the game because I tend to get too involved in the game. I rather focus on the play of the team to see how we are improving as a team and where we seem to struggle. I really enjoy the work you do and the analogies you use when you speak. I feel your analogies fit in perfectly and keep us on our toes because at times they are clues to something coming.
A little about myself, I currently live in Knoxville, Tennessee. I work for the University of Tennessee in the Army ROTC department. I am a 16 year veteran and counting. I am looking to retire in 2022 on the enlisted side of the Army. I am married with 2 kids and we are considering having a 3rd child. My wife did 4 years in the Marine Corps and got out for the sake of our children. I am originally from Marietta, Georgia and really didn't get into the Dawgs until the early to mid 2000's. I was a little too busy in the beginning of my Army career deploying so I wasn't able to keep up much with the Dawgs.
I read almost every article written in DawgNation and watch all the videos you guys post. DawgNation Daily really changed my life. What started out as a podcast listener, eventually transitioned to the YouTube show and SEC Country Live. This show has really increased my interest in recruiting, my overall knowledge of the game, and made me into an even more passionate fan of this team, the coaches, and college football.
Lastly, I want to thank the DawgNation Daily staff for creating a platform where us fans can have discussions and talk about the Dawgs whenever we want. This is the only show where the fans are treated like a part of the show and it is all due to you and the rest of the staff. Thank you all for what you do!
@FirePlugDawg @JeffSentell brought this topic up inside of this very thread, & I responded directly to @JeffSentell on this very thread directly to his posting. Then @kelly_b even gave me an UP vote. Why would you want vote me "off topic", when my response was to @JeffSentell????
DV are a lot like statistics...overrated IMO. Somehow many folks UV to signify agreement, but choose DV for more than disagreement - those are usually posted - the DV seem to often indicate something more, or are, at least, taken that way. I've learned from others on this board to let DV roll off, like the water off of a duck's back, Of course, there are always fat fingers to consider as well.
I'd like to see SOMETHING regarding baseball recruiting along with football MAINLY, and basketball. Even if it includes kicking our 1st baseman off the team. We were a powerhouse in a way 2002-2008.
Basketball was just created
A while back, by Dr. Naismith, although, some historians think ancient Mayans played a game like basketball (travelling was allowed) where a basket on top of a very tall pole was used and a rock had to be thrown into it to score. Since the L resulted in the losing team losing their heads, (literally) you can imagine how tenacious the defense was in that game.
Well, this is my second post here. I am proud to be a member of Dawg nation. I probably wont post much because I don't like to argue with my fellow dawg fans. {Alot of people here seem to enjoy this } I truly believe we have turned the corner with CKS and greater things are ahead. I look forward to every game with a Bud lite and positive attitude. Nobody ever really wins a fight, Especially when we fight among ourselves. God bless, Go DAWGS!!
Just this week I met a man hiking in SE PA wearing UGA gear as he does every day. His daughter swims or swam for the good guys. Funny to hear good things about UGA from someone with such a strong local dialect. I also hear great things about UGA in NJ because of equestrian, good recruiting grounds for the Dogs.
I am not one of those people and you can always tune those others out. I'd like to hear what you have to say. Stay positive brother as that is the only a true fan should be. Go Dawgs!
I dunno man, I generally don't see very many fights. Just some good natured disagreements. It's been a while since I've seen a fight here. Speak with confidence and joy!
We have football to keep us sane now lol
@christopherules Man, if we can have a 90+ response thread about PB&J, this forum isn't too concerned about "off topic" posts
