We've seen a lot of new members flurry in over the last week. You guys must be on to something.

-- If you're a new recruit, you better live up to the classes that program has signed of late
We're trying to build a better mousetrap here when it comes to the message board land. Think a better Death Star. But without that lame thermal exhaust port fatal flaw built-in nonsense.

Just wanted to share something from one of our new members. This was what they shared when they applied: When I was born my dad played Glory, Glory to ole Georgia in the delivery room just to let me know what was expected.
That's a pretty good one. Now everyone play nice. Or as nice as you can among those of like minds and the pop-in haters and trolls.

Happy to be here and to have met some of my Dawg family. Well, not met. I'm 5,000 miles away, but you know what I mean. I try to stay positive in my criticisms and tend to enjoy the funny posts and the analytical posts most. Just like the players who have to learn to control their emotions, there are a few of us here who have to do the same on the boards (and at YouTube, where I've seen some egregious comments that have no place in the Dawg Nation). Go Dawgs!

I’m a new member, but have been lurking for quite some time. Didn’t attend UGA, just started watching them as a teenager in the mid 90’s and have been following them since. I enjoy the discussion here and especially the game day threads, it’s fun to discuss the game with other Dawg fans. The weekly Falcons thread with @kelly_b, @WCDawg, and others has been fun as well (it keeps the Dawgs’ concerns in perspective).

I used to be on here more often, but for awhile I began to think until we stop playing not to lose instead of aggressively trying to bully everybody we play; we wouldn't reach our potential to get that natty we want so bad. But if CJC calls the game he called last night, we CAN be the best team in the country. Especially when these pups become more accustomed to the SEC and our scheme in particular. Great to see the points of view from my DAWGS brethren again!

12ed and the world's top biscuit maker, Bojangles added a lot to the forum as well. I am guessing alien abduction as the reason for their absence these days. Can't forget JSK's awesome photoshopping skills either.

Jeff, I am a long time forum lurker in many different aspects of my life. What I can say as an area for improvement is the possibility of better flow of the forum in the future. Many other forums have breakdowns of categories such as: breaking news, Football, recruiting, baseball, basketball, classifieds, etc.
Yeah, you guys seem to be promoting the forum at least here and there. I’ve never seen a really big forum be any good, But, it’ll be interesting to see what you guys make of it.
Don't we have that on this forum with slightly different categories?
There are already categories for: General: Football; Commit to the G (Recruiting) for our forum.
What specifically would everyone like to see? Basketball? What else?
I think I'm going to come up with a "Forum Member of the Month" contest for October.
