Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Borax’s chemical name is Sodium tetraborate decahydrate, not sodium borate. That’s just an improperly used “generic” that is misleading to the public. I am an EPA registrant of a boric acid product and can tell you there are significant differences Here is the 1993 epa registration submitted by US Borax for an jnsecticide label. Note the DANGER signal word. The registration lapsed after 18 months for nonpayment because it is not legal to sell an insecticide to the public with a Danger word on the label. They can sell it as laundry detergent where it carries a CAUTION statement, but the minute they say anything about killing bugs it becomes too toxic for public use

[Cannot quote as I am getting a Body is too long (lengthy) message]
@Bankwalker Probably could use the same label for common table salt - sodium chloride.
This is from the second TOXNET document I provided earlier:
Other Chemical/Physical Properties:
Once a tetra-, di-, meta-, ortho-, or pyroborate salt dissolves in a buffered solution, one borate cannot be distinguished on chemical or toxicological grounds, from any one of the others. /Borate/

"feelings toward Texas"
This is not a stereotype, but a gross omission so far...
Buc-ee's is the best gas station with the best snacks in all the country. People talk about Wawa, but there's nothing in Wawa as good as beaver nuggets
Okay, I'll bite. Beaver nuggets?
about to buy some now
@Kasey - That means I could have put the pic of Homer drooling up four times tonight. I love those kinds of snacks. Guess I'm just gonna make some crepes w/ Nutella. I've got an uncontrollable urge - and no Waffle House.
When I was on vacation in Texas last summer I bought two bags bc I knew I'd eat one before I brought them home to NYC
On the other hand, they call corn dogs "corny dogs." I cringed every time I heard that when I lived there.
I a little surprised that "beaver" doesn't get censored...maybe it's because it sounds like an oxymoron? Beaver and nuggets? Anyway, I'm gonna have to try those some day.
Mammals in SE US
Ok. One of you is a whole more excited about Beaver nuggets than the other one is.
Bucee's is simply awesome.
While your filling up you can use the cleanest restrooms in the world - except mi' casa - grab any snack imaginable and still buy a new Yeti and replace the lost Costa sunglasses that went flying after celebrating reeling in the biggest Texas red fish I have ever seen.
Yes, Bucee's is simply awesome.
