Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Is the Chatt you speak of Chattanooga?
I've been to Rhinehart's before...is their burger good?
@kasey stole my thunder on Rhineharts so I’ll add a couple chains because they’re still the BOMB. Burger Fi and Five Guys.
We used to go to Allen's after every home game...cold pitchers of beer and cheap cheeseburgers!
Man, I miss Athens too...
If we're talking chains, and because I'm from Texas, Whataburger takes the prize. Fresh made to order, and available with a number of tasty toppings.
We also have a chain around Austin , Hopdoddy, which is pretty good.
Finally, Keller's in Dallas is a drive in institution serving cold beer and burgers they'll bring to your car. I spent many a Friday night after football enjoying their food and liberal "no carding" policy! 😀
I had forgotten about Grind house so I looked at their menu. I tried to talk a couple of my co-workers in going there for lunch today. I wanted either a Booty Shake or Stimulus Package.
it's all I ever get there
Y'all ever heard of Gary's Hamburgers in Augusta
Forgot about Mister Dips in Williamsburg. They serve out of an old airstream on top of a hotel. Great views of Manhattan in the summer. Shakes, fries, and cones are top notch also
That looks good @Kasey. Double stack, melted cheese, little bit of blood, and no funny business.
Yes sir
Jacks #2 is a little hole in the wall on North Jefferson St in Dublin. Tiny little burgers though not as tiny as Krystals. Most either love 'em or hate 'em. Back in the 70's, my uncle would drop my cousins and me off at Jacks and we thought the burgers were the best thing ever made. Carried my wife there after we married and she hated it. She has never given it another chance. I pop in every now and then and grab a couple.
Dont know the Augusta area well. But welcome aboard
Hands down, it's "The Backyard Burger" from Jerry J's.(Waycross GA)
When I lived in Jax I would always go to Five Guys and get their double burger all-the-way. Good but pricey.
Vortex is good, but they allow smoking which ruins a good meal. I still love The Grill. Something about being in Athens means the food is better, the tea is sweater, the girls are prettier, and life is just better. #takemehome
