It’s definitely slow when this is a cause for concern. Especially when explanations of closed threads were stated, explained again, and then reconfirmed numerous times.
There are hundreds upon hundreds of members now (thousands really), it will be hard for mods to please everyone.
Jeff is taking applicants for new mods, would you like to apply? It’s not that fun, but some of us really like this forum and are trying to help out. I blame @12ed & @BojanglesInsider for the need of mods. I also blame @12ed for the NC game loss, he went M.I.A. on the forum and didn’t get enough downvotes to secure the championship.
Everyone has an opinion and I respect that cannot really add to what @Teddy has said.

But it does bring up a valid point. At what point does a thread go from original material to redundant? WHen the season starts, will there only be one thread allowed to discuss the Vandy game? Will there only be one thread allowed to discuss Fromm’s performance? Will there only be on thread allowed to discuss a controversial call in the game? This seems to be the new law they are trying to enforce all of a sudden.
This thread has turned into a lot of "what ifs"... Let things play out, and we'll go from there. If something the mods are doing isn't working, then we'll adapt and change things up. That fair enough?
My mom was a history teacher and whenever my class would get into a bunch of what if scenarios she'd say "Y'all aren't old enough or mature enough to ask what if questions yet. I'll let you know when you are."
That's awesome. Count me as a fan of your mom.
