Big rally yesterday in the ninth, now 11 runs so far tonight not a bad weekend. Fried outstanding again.

These Braves are the yo-yo boys...up and down. They have some grit about them.

Kimbrel isnt near the player he was a few years ago. Overpaying for him for a long term deal would be a huge mistake.

Bottom line is we just dont have a big enough sample size right now to answer the question.

I like the bats. They should score enough. Acuna is a superstar already.

Freid looks good and they will get Folty back at some point. If they can cobble together a bullpen they might just make it.

The bigger problem is the division is much improved over last year. Winning it this year wont be as easy. The Phillies wont just fade away like they did last year.

I think the Braves will finish between 79-83 wins. They have too good of an offense and defense to fall below that, but they lack of back end pitching is holding them back from being a 90+ win team...plus they play in one of the tougher divisions in baseball

His OPS is above .900 now. He's warming up a bit. Hopefully he can keep it going.

Donaldson's OBP has been high all season. To my way of thinking as long as a hitter is getting on base at a high rate he is a net plus in the lineup. Also, if he is getting on base, the rest will usually come at some point. Getting on base tells me his approach was good, and we know he has some power.

I'm hoping that the Cleveland rally on Saturday can be this season what the Marlins rally was last season. We might look back at that game in a couple of months as a sign that the lineup can make some noise late in games and the bullpen finally got its head screwed on straight. As bad as they were against Arizona, they were pretty good in Cleveland. I just worry that Snit will continue to mismanage relievers and we're gonna get unlucky more than we get lucky.

CTDawg. I think getting Folty back and in 2018 form is critical. If he and Soroka get healthy and pitch near their potential, it will be huge in stabilizing the rotation.

he only steals $ in the first half of the season. Pays it off in the 2nd half.

donm. Seems more like a short term loan if he pays it back in 6 months...with a fair interest rate of course.

He better get busy soon considering there arent any games 5 months of the year

You also need to know that most of inciartes value comes from his defense. He has and always will be a below average hitter, and he isn’t actually even very fast (not great base running value). But he does play an excellent center field.

He seemingly starts out super slow every year and heats up towards the middle of the year. Always uncomfortable watching him early in the year but still gotta hope he does his usual thing and gets it together in another month.

Hoping Ender can turn it around. He's a career .286 hitter, so it's not like he's chopped liver at the plate. 2 of his 5 years he's batted over .300. He does need to get it going though. Or maybe Acuna plays center more, with Camargo/Culberson in left.
