Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with how the lottery played out. Could it have gone any worse for the Hawks? They would have been better off if the Mavs had hit at 4.
Hachimura is a defensive liability. I can't see adding a poor defender to what was already the worst scoring defense in The NBA going back 28 years. That's right, the last time ANY NBA team gave up as many PPG as The Hawks gave up in 2018/2019 was 28 years ago. They are simply atrocious at defense. Move up and take Hunter or Culver. Both are all around players who can play in a motion offense and both are plus defenders.
As for our 2nd pick in the 1st rd. Please watch highlights of French SF/PF Sekou Doumbouya. Most of those highlights were shot before he turned 18 years old. Now imagine the guy at 21 years old.
I've never been that enamored of Hachimura. I think they can do better.
Don’t care: not UGA sports or Atlanta Braves.
Thanks for chiming in! 😉
