Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Great news, hope it’s holds true
Happy to see they went to visit Flowe. Would love for him to be a dawg.
It’s virtually impossible, and I haven’t been told this, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kirby find a way to take a max class this year 24-25.
My understanding is that Wolf and Cager count against the 2020 class which would leave 23 max which I have in my mocks as I also think he will max out given the number of high quality recruits we seem to be in a good place with. The question here will be when do they enroll. If it is before fall practice then they must be 2019 recruits. If not they are almost certainly 2020.
So it’s not the 85, it’s the 25 rule that will be the limiting factor. Got it.
Even at 23 that’ll be huge for us. Some really good players out there I think staff has a chance of securing.
So with sending coaches to see Evans, was that a you sure you’re not interested? Or something to be concerned about with Milton? Assuming as previously stated Lloyd is a done deal.
The former - checking in on the best back in the class, trying to get him on campus. (Also don’t be surprised if they visited with other TX players while out there)
I think that Kirby will do what is necessary to make room in the 85. We currently sit at 85 and will have 16 out of eligibility at seasons end. I am convinced that a minimum of 4 declare early (Fromm, Swift, Thomas and Wilson). So with 20 almost guaranteed I can easily see another 3-5 declare/enter portal. I had 12 potential candidates including the 4 above and Jaden not because I don't value them but feel their best interests may be served in a less competitive program.
This may change if they move up the depth chart but that will obviously mean someone else drops down. I personally think that the CB room is crowded and is one of the areas where the underclassmen are the likely starters and back-ups.
Ohh definitely with other Texas players just last I read there was pretty much no chance with Evans. Just was curious and you gurus know way more than the rest of us. Thanks for the info!
I have zero inside info, but I believe there are no recruits in the nation that we have “no chance” at if we’d genuinely pursue them.
With Evans the feeling is he wont leave the state. Also he’s taking his decision into the season, along with Kendall and Lloyd. Evals will continue for the duration of their recruitment. Sending our two best recruiters tells you interest from staff is very high, and we’re likely behind so sending the ace recruiters in early. Nothing with Evans to get excited about yet. We’re the best fit for him but will he recognize that. Evans and Milton are the two best in country.
Staff will take the first 2 of those 3, with it likely being Milton and Lloyd.
