- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Is he being recruited by other schools as DL, since he is listed as OT?
Don’t know the answer to that, he’s just a name to know as I asked the plans after the Smith news last night.
The belief is that Carter, Brinson, and Burch will be in the class. We will continue to try to flip Dexter and there’s some confidence we can do that. Obviously, we’re not sure what’s going to happen on DL but my mindset is that any combination of Carter and Burch in the same class is an A class. Add Dexter and it makes it an A+ class. Fill the remaining two slots with BPA for DL: Cowan, Stackhouse, Burroughs, Thomas, Walker.
Really like this kids film. Moves extremely well for a junior @ 300lbs. I like his work at OT as well. He's a baller.
Yeah tape was good. The real question that we don’t know the answer to is how staff views the order of Burroughs, Stackhouse, Cowan, Thomas, Walker. The first two staff obviously likes/liked a lot. Burroughs fills a need, but...Stackhouse has been everywhere but UGA but staff really likes him. Cowan gained weight and hasn’t looked like the same player since moving from DE to DT. Walker is a project with upside. Thomas is a newer name that we don’t have much info on.
This is why it’s so variable and no one can say for sure what’s going on or what’s going to happen.
This is an opinion but if we could get the right 4 (Carter, Burch, Dexter, Brinson or one of those mentioned this morning), I’d be comfy with just 4. Maybe then take BPA with less question marks at another position. JMO.
IF the class includes Burch then I’d consider it pretty great even w/o Dexter. If not then missing on some of the other guys may sting a little IMO.
I watched the Arian Smith tape and yes please. Liked that he’s obviously a football player and not just a speed guy. Maybe the guys in those small schools are all tiny but he looked a little bigger than I expected from his measurements.
Also, isn’t Lakeland supposed to be a Gator area/school? Always a bonus.
Last year 3 Lakeland recruits committed to UF on ESD
A few HS in Lakeland. Smith doesn’t play for the school that Bowman and Zipperer play on. I believe that’s 6A Ball.
It is fu country though. Signage and license plates everywhere.
Last year the Noles pulled 4* DB Brendan Gant out of Lakeland but that's not common. fu usually gets the meat off the table from there. As Lakeland is about half way between Gainesville and Miami one would think the U should have success there but as of late not so much.
Lakeland is on I-4 between Orlando and Tampa. It is 2 1/4 hours from Gainesville and 4 hours from Miami, 4 1/4 from Tallahassee.
@denmen185, I stand corrected. Lake City is the one I'm thinking of
Could be worse he could be from Winter Haven/Springs/Garden/Park 🤣
To be clear, Reese played all over in HS. He was actually brought in to UGA as a safety.
Something to think about with a name that has appeared often in our thread. This actually impacts his perception on a few tiers.
One of the Fab 4?
I’m guessing Burton?
