Ehh, I think depth chart and some unforeseen things hurt us last year. I also think Kenny Mac is better than people give him credit for being. I’m not super high on Trey Sanders...we’ll see what he does next year, but I was and am really high on Emery and Ty Davis.
That being said, I don’t think you can complain without having a solution in this case. We were leaders for Evans, and he does something that our staff considers inexcusable. What do you want them to do, ignore it? **** happens sometimes. If someone has a devastating injury, you shouldn’t blame the staff, and I think this should be considered similarly.
Also, if we’re talking about ELITE backs that we’re missing on, then I don’t think Tank can be put into that category, so I don’t buy the complaints about slow playing him. That’s not to say Tank can’t be really good, but there’s nothing saying that our 2RB in this class can’t be as well. As always, you’re working with evaluations and probabilities here.
PRISON BREAK- that was an awesome show SoFl
Still plenty of time and I agree. I just don’t like being peed on and being told it’s raining. The Bigsby level guys are one thing but Clayton is not comparable IMO.
Then again I don’t think we’ve actually heard he’s a priority target now. I’m sure he’s a good player and a great kid who will tear it up at Kansas and apparently he has family members on this board. As I said, this is RBU.
I also think it'll be interesting to see other schools deal with this situation as well. Does this open up new opportunities for different schools? Will be interesting to see the visits he takes going forward.
How about we let staff do their jobs and not complicate things by talking about the recruits in ways that could make that job harder. If we know how to evaluate talent, we would have one of those high-paying jobs with UGA.
I would love if we got Chaney but I'm Ok with not signing another RB. I think Kenny Mc and Milton are gonna be studs
I'm having a hard time following where exactly you are upset in this situation.
Georgia did a great job recruiting 2 great RBs. Turns out one of those backs is probably not a good fit for Georgia any longer. It happens.
Georgia tries to get another back. If we do great - if we don't - we'll be fine.
Don't exactly know where Georgia went wrong. We may be RBU but we aren't exactly entitled to any RB that we want.
Exactly. I also don't think that anyone is calling Clayton the answer, but you deal with what your dealt.
I’m giving my opinion. Apologies if it’s not popular or if it doesn’t seem nice to hard working players. Though again, it’s hilarious how y’all are up in arms at my not being impressed with Clayton yet SoFL said essentially the same thing(including that he wasn’t sure about a guy with a Kansas offer) yet no one would dare to DV him. 🤷♂️
Cook hasn't showed anything to assume he will get carries out back field next year. He hasn't flashed to me coming out the backfield. I see him in slot again next year taking sweeps .
I'm OK with your opinion. Again, I'm just curious about your frustration. Don't understand what else Georgia could have done.
You seem upset about the situation and I don't understand why.
it's the way you said it that was different than him. he had a ton more qualifiers in his opinion than you. I think that's where you're getting the DV pushback
So I just heard that we decided to move on from Ringo...the #1 CB in the country. But not to worry! We’re currently in the lead for the #11 CB in the country Kitan Crawford out of TX and he’s just as good so no need for worry!
See what I did there according to 247 rankings just at different positions? But I’m sure I’m the only one who would question that tradeoff. /s 🙄
Yeah. I’m suuuure that’s the difference. And I’m seriously the only one who’s said that they weren’t buying that Clayton is as good as other backs. 🙄
What's your point? Really.
If something came up and we needed to move on from another top player - so be it. It happens.
Can we not be grateful that we are in the position talent wise that we can move away from a player if necessary.
A&M absolutely doesn't have the option of moving away from him. They absolutely have to have him. Glad we aren't in that position.
Again. I really don't understand your frustration and can't see where Georgia did anything wrong.
