Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I don't really care about his grammar here but I think he could've let the world know that this wasn't a big deal without shizzing all over his coach in the process. That's the only part I'm not a fan of.
Was I the only one wondering who TF Ian was for about 2 minutes?
I am curious about something. Who is the last recruit that the forum totally missed on? I mean a guy that everyone was sure about but it just didn’t pan out in the end?
I’ve been a die hard UGA fan since my teens but never really followed recruiting until around the 2018 class. But this year it’s became sort of compulsive for me. I was trying to explain some of this recruiting news to my wife (also a diehard) and she kinda looked at me like I was crazy. Having this information my help me convince her. Thanks in advance.
I’m sorry, but if it’s true that he asked to receive a phone call before giving his phone up, and then tried to give it back once the phone call was made, I think that’s super **** by the coach.
Enlighten me because I’m still lost and hung up on the poor grammar
lej esay hean gone be cary da dictonari when he finna be up in da endzone
He'll be fine. Everyone is making a drama out of something trivial, Evans, coach and fans.
He doesn't need to defend himself. Show up on and off the field in college and it'll become objective fact as far as I'm concerned.
I still believe what he's saying until we're shown otherwise, it's too suspicious that his troubles all coincide with a circumstantial repeat of his college choice leaning to UGA. I don't believe it's just coincidence.
Does that mean you figured it out? Cause I still haven't. Help a po boy out?
Agree on all fronts. It’s pretty clear to me that the staff was done with Evans and vice versa. I reckon the phone call being super important is probably overblown by Evans, but him asking for a little extra time to get a phone call on an already draconian rule seems super petty and ridiculous to me.
IAN = I ain't @pocoyo @Muffingod
Lol...I was lost. I thought it was a person.
Think I can figure out the "TF" part.
Anyone else notice that after @MackDawg implied that he had this youngun slang figured out, he disappeared when we asked about it? 🙄
Nature called, man..
TF= the frick
Also thought about doing a 1:1 translation but it made my brain hurt.
He dindunuffin
A good exercise is to go through 247 since 2016 and see the guys Kirby recruited.....especially the players ranked from 100-250.
You'll notice a lot of misses....every school has them.
Aubrey Solomon twice. Derrick Brown was pretty much considered a sure thing. Big Kat Bryant silently committed twice to UGA. Owen Pappoe another. It happens to all teams a lot.
Who is Broderick Jones for $300
I don't really understand all of it (there's things that I'd have to look up), but it's pretty obviously street talk to me. The thing I think you can do is separate street talk from what you need to do in the classroom in English in the future, as I'm pretty sure many of my peers earlier in this decade did.
Only problem I have is going on about the coaches...a simple explanation that you wanted to make sure your parent got in and was going to be later that the phone curfew, but your coach didn't like the idea of this would have sufficed. I even just talked to my dad about it and he found it very strange and didn't blame the kid.
Anyway, hopefully Evans doesn't have these run ins when he's at Georgia and he's able to reach his potential.
No issues with him trying to defend himself/tell his side of the story, but taking shots at management on the way out the door didn't do Antonio Brown any favors either.
He's still just a kid and will mature (or not) once he's in the program. Sounds like he could really use a fresh start in a new environment.
Wishing him nothing but success on and off the field in the coming years. I think being an EE will help him aclimate to his new environment before the bright lights shine on the 2020 season.
