- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I thought the SEC had a policy that intra-conference transferS had a mandatory one year no-play deal, regardless of what the NCAA says.
You can love your country and criticize it. Our society disgusts me.
I get what youre saying. I believe there's people to talk to about things but talking in certain aspects probably means talking and finding a solution. They tie hand in hand in most prints of this type of discussion. But Im glad UGA will allow him to play. Kirby really hasnt held people back for him so that's good just on the NCAA now and its only 4 days from gameday.
Lane Kiffin... working hard to fight racism.... as coach of... the “Rebels”
read that again...
Dang they hit back pretty hard there. Either he consents to it or he’s blowing smoke.
“We cannot comment on student-athlete eligibility matters due to federal privacy laws, but we would be happy to share our full response to Otis Reese’s waiver request, if he provides a signed release allowing us to do so,” The statement said. “UGA disputes any suggestion that it maintains an unsafe, unsupportive, or racially insensitive environment.”
This makes me think UGA blocked nothing.
Tom Mars can EAD.
I assume by teammate being called the N word he is talking about Justin Fields(no new instance) and yes it has appeared in the past that the campus Police go after players, and needs to elaborate on the mocking of slavery. If someone wanted to downplay slavery they wouldn't imitate whipping. Maybe it was part of a play or sketch denouncing slavery. If there are racial instances they need to be addressed but why wasn't this mentioned at the initial transfer. Why is it brought up when eligibility is on hold?
I can't say since I am not a member of the team. I will say that last year during the second half of the season that something was definitely going on with the team. They seemed on edge and no one was talking.
The one thing I've noticed is that most Georgia people take it personally when anyone suggest that there might be a problem. Even on this board just the mere mention of racism or (god forbid) BLM is met with threats
One thing to keep in mind about Reese’s transfer and request from the NCAA, the NCAA still hasn’t ruled on it.
So I think Otis is telling the truth about the things he experienced, but with UGA being so willing to share their findings, and willing to release them with Reese’s permission, it seems like it’s a NCAA issue as to why he still isn’t eligible.
I thought Otis said Kirby was doing something to keep him from getting immediate eligibility (paraphrase). Did I miss something?
So much assumption and generalization in that statement. How were the cops racist (playing devils advocate)?
You KNOW they are racist for pulling over a black man twice?
Ok.
Calling him out. I gotta blame this one on "Lame" Kiffin. He's always trying to stir the pot. He thinks he's so woke. Just gotta laugh.
“Threats”
No he mentioned Smart convincing him not to leave the team early.
Edit: He did say Kirby said he'd support his decision to transfer and play immediately
I said cops were racist? Didnt know I said that... 🤷🏾♂️
I think it's this suggestion that if a cop pulls over a black person, then it's racist. That seems to be one of Otis' primary claims. He was pulled over twice "for no good reason". My son said that all the time when he was that age and kept getting tickets for speeding.
