Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I think we can all agree that McDonald's is the worst. If somebody can identify the mystery meat they use, you win a cookie. I haven't stepped foot in a McDonald's in 20 years.
I agree, McDonalds is the absolute worst!!!
Maybe Whataburger is a Texas thing. I love it.
I also love shake shack.......it's a different deal....my credit card tells me so.
Next time any of you are in Athens drive out to Hull and try the Winghouse Grill. Get the cheeseburger. I promise you won't regret it.
Edited to add: They now have a restaurant in Watkinsville as well.
Two things I miss the most since moving from SoCal to Miami, dry air and In N Out.
I was the opposite when I moved from the south to San Diego...I missed Whataburger. I think I ate at In-n-Out maybe 3 times in 6 years I was there. Always felt like I needed to take a shower after one of those grease-bombs.
Jerry J's used to make a good burger but its been years since I've had one.
If you find yourself in and around Savannah, think about giving B&D Burgers a try. https://bdburgers.net/menu/#specialty
The Ellis Square is my personal favorite.
Another local favorite: https://greentruckpub.com/menu
You’re right Shake Shack is a different price level.
Unpopular opinion...
in n out, whataburger, and Burger King are all relatively within the same level. It’s just what you grow up with.
wendys is the best fast food burger.
I think we’re all “in-n-out” fans.
You are correct...
that is an unpopular opinion.
Green Truck ain’t worth the squeeze imo. It’s all right but I don’t like waiting.
Best burger I had in Savannah was at Bowtie BBQ. Has a fried green tomato, pimento cheese, and bacon jam on it.
... nor is it remotely accurate.
Never had Bowtie, but I agree on Green Truck - extremely overrated....and their tomato flavored applesauce they call ketchup.
Oh nice, will give it a try. Would never think to order a burger at a BBQ place for whatever reason.
Same can't be said for steak. The Ribeye at Skippers Fish Camp in Darien....oh, man.
