Great Article by Mark Bradley about these 2021 Hawks getting our hopes up a little. They are in an excellent position to make a run and will be exciting to watch.

15 point lead at end of 1st Quarter... Can’t ask for a better start against No. 1 seed .... That was fun ... looking forward to this
26 point lead at 8min mark in 2d qtr...Wow
Great start to the game.
Cannot look too far ahead, but just have to enjoy it ... a young team that is fearless and fun to watch.
When 3s are dropping everybody's job is easier. To state the obvious the 2nd half will be the most important half of the season to date. I'm going to be honest, I hope Embiid's knee acts up, we all think it. I hope it heals up in a couple of weeks.
Would like to see Embiid come back. Kid has been through a bunch and that sucks he got an injury.
He hasn’t looked limited in this game.
That’s good.
My local bar down the block from my apartment is a Philly bar so I know they are concerned. I was in there when Kawhi sunk that game 7 buzzer beater in 2019 for the Raptors and it got very very quiet in there. Mouse peeing on cotton quiet.
A Roller Coaster Win on the Road!
I prefer winning. I'll drink a beer to his bad luck if he doesn't play another minute in this series, then I'll drink 2 more to our good luck.
I usually like beating a team with their best players so there are zero excuses, but to each their own...
I hope that 4th quarter doesn't carry over. This is why teams with non-PG superstars win almost every NBA title. If we'd had Kawhi Leonard in the 4th quarter we win by 20. Leonard will be an unrestricted free agent after this season. I hope he looks at our young talent and decides to leave his Southern California home for Atlanta. The guy was raised in L.A. he went to college in San Diego and he signed with an L.A. team as soon as he could, so I won't hold my breath.
I always want to win. This isn't a moral issue, it's sports. If it was a choice of beating Philly with Embiid playing or beating them without Embiid playing, I would choose to beat them at full strength. Since that isn't how it works though, I'll take the one that gives us the best shot at advancing to The Conference Finals.
The Hawks fell apart under pressure in the 2nd half, but at least Embiid played, so yea !
I thought the Hawks would pull it out after coming back from 18 in first half to tie it early in the third qtr. It was must have game for Philly and their energy out of the gate was to be expected. Shake Milton off the bench was the difference for Philly. Hawks still in good position coming home. Need Collins to step up and make his presence felt.
