Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Brock Bowers named Georgia’s lone representative on Maxwell Award watch list
Syracuse junior Oronde Gadsen had a very good year last year (61 catches for 969 yds and 6 TDs) - so good for him. But for a 7-6 SU team that was middle of the pack in the weak ACC (same conference record as GaTech at 4-4). After hardly playing a freshman, he really broke out last year. I guess they spread the love around… -
Re: Talented Spencer Rattler makes South Carolina dangerous, but supporting cast lacking and banged up
I'm not concerned about the erratic and inconsistent Rattler. He rushed for -23 yards, threw an interception, and completed only 61% of his passes (a few which should have been interceptions). There's a reason he didn't start as QB for Oklahoma. We do need to find a consistent pass rush. He does not do well under pressure… -
Re: Kirby Smart gets testy in defense of Georgia situational execution: ‘That’s my decision to make’
Thank You BigDawg 61 for being the voice of reason....I see your point, KS was never concerned that we would lose based on our defensive play and the best practice for adversity is real life.....Kentucky presented us the best physical front we'll see all year, thus the best practice we'll get all year. From my comments,… -
Re: ESPN's FPI....Are you kidding me?!
You need to also understand what FPI is--The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of… -
Here is every pass play of 20 or more yards thru 5 games..
Fromm Hardman - 59 yards, 18 yards in the air. Hardman - 39 yards, caught at LOS. Hardman - 42 yards, caught in backfield. Holloman - 65 yards, 45 yards in the air. Holyfield - 24 yards, 8 yards in the air. Ridley - 33 yards, 19 yards in the air. Holloman - 61 yards, 17 yards in the air. Hardman - 54 yards, 40 yards in the… -
Re: Where is everybody?
@TurkDawg I too have a pretty strong Summertime memory of being in a distant region (by Latitude anyway) nearby to where you speak of (Planet Earth, and Globe-wise), although not nearly as impressive as you were by running in a 26.2 mile marathon!!! I went up to Alaska during the summer of say perhaps either it was 1985,… -
Re: Stetson Bennett among the 12 Georgia football players invited to 2023 NFL Combine
I think jackpod (there you go) was flirting with the all time (UGA? SEC? National?) successful kick % (career?) late into the season. That's pretty dependable. HotRod (HotPod?) was pretty consistent but missed some important kicks too. If you are talking about the SC loss, he missed 2 (? maybe not) field goals, Fromm threw… -
Re: Stetson Bennett ‘knew he had to play well’ for Georgia football; here’s how he did it
From Bleacher Report: "Here's a rundown of Bennett's first five pass attempts: 73-yard touchdown, 10-yard gain, 12-yard touchdown, 89-yard touchdown, 61-yard touchdown. That's 5-for-5 for 245 yards and four touchdowns, which is a passer efficiency rating of 782.3. It shouldn't matter in the long run. This is Daniels' job… -
Re: I'm strongly considering moving to Costa Rica...
AnotherDawg I know C.R. isn't rich by US standards, but it's FAR better off than many of it's neighboring countries. Poverty rate. C.R. poverty rate, 20%, murder rate 12 per 100,000 Panama. poverty rate 22%, murder rate 10 per 100k El Salvador. poverty rate 38%, murder rate 83 per 100k Honduras. poverty rate 61%, murder… -
Re: Georgia football secondary knows it has ‘a lot of work to do’ before facing Ohio State offense
I don't think what we did against LSU will work against Ohio St. We pretty much just played a soft zone except for Ringo. THey had receivers and TE's running without anyone on them or within 3-4 yards the first 10-15 yards downfield. Both their QB's pass completion rate was 61% and that's not nickle and dime type stuff.…
