Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Georgia football report card: Bulldogs fail to make grade in crunch time
Like I said before on your original article, I usually agree with you and your assessments, sometimes you change my mind. BUT, here you go again barking the party line for Kirby. The coaching as a whole was a C-, but our Head Coach does not get a passing grade. How can we expect any type of change, if we don't hold him… -
Re: NFL Draft - Star Rating - Recruit Identification
There are so many variables as to why last years draft would lean more towards 3*s. Looking at one yr is such a small sample size. -Was the ‘15(RS soph and juniors),’14 (senior)’13 (RS senior) blue chip class low on certain position groups kinda like the ‘19 class is a bad yr for elite QBs. -could’ve been NFL had more need… -
Re: With Mullen getting $6 mil a year, how big of a raise does Kirby get?
UGA did well to go 8-5 last year with that horrible OL and WR corps. I have serious doubts that Dan Mullen could have done much better. It's not Kirby's fault that the SECe is down (or is it?), but you have to acknowledge: Georgia didn't just win the east, they OWNED it, outscoring east opponents 247-72. Kirby has shown… -
Re: I'm strongly considering moving to Costa Rica...
AnotherDawg I know C.R. isn't rich by US standards, but it's FAR better off than many of it's neighboring countries. Poverty rate. C.R. poverty rate, 20%, murder rate 12 per 100,000 Panama. poverty rate 22%, murder rate 10 per 100k El Salvador. poverty rate 38%, murder rate 83 per 100k Honduras. poverty rate 61%, murder… -
Re: The Hawks drew picks 8 and 10...we got hosed...
The more I look at this the more I think The Hawks could end up with very little value for 2 1st rd and 3 2nd rd picks in this draft. I'm thinking do what it takes to move up and take either Jarrett Culver or Deandre Hunter, then make a risk/reward pick and take Frenchman Sekou Doumbouya with the other 1st rd pick. I'd… -
Re: Aubrey Solomon granted waiver
Solomon is a good player. I really wanted him--both times, as did Kirby. We really should have gotten both Brown and Solomon. Why they want to leave the state when they could have been keys to bringing home the Natty for three years running is puzzling, but I guess go-kart rides can sway a kid's mind. I wonder what Pruitt… -
Re: Georgia NFL roundup: Jake Fromm has $3.5 million deal, Andrew Thomas projected at $32 million
@Timothy1952 It's easy for us to say that someone would have benefited from another year of school when we don't know what their financial situation at present. It's hard to tell a 19 to 21yr kid not to accept a 4yr contract worth $4M when in reality if they stay in school they are not guaranteed a job with a degree. Even… -
Jeff's article on Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
Jeff Sentell had a nice article on TID. Ingram-Dawkins has seen a meteoric rise in his rankings. As recently as March 30th of 2020, he was a mid-3 star and ranked number 575. Now: the #2 DT and 19th overall -- on the pure 247; the #12 DT and 144 overall on the composite 247. A rise in the rankings due, in part, by a weight… -
National Cocoa Day
Down here in FL it's quite cool. Down to 37F last night in some spots. So, it seems appropriate to have some nice, hot cocoa. I like mine with little marshmallows floating in the drink. Any of you have favorite recipes? It's a full day on the calendar as it's also: National Violin Day - a little early as our rivals won't… -
High school sports
How do you guys think Covid 19 is going to effect high school sports next year, and how is that going to effect evaluating 2022-2023 recruits? I am fairly certain that kids will be back in school in the fall, but I don't see how we move forward with contact sports until significant progress is made in treatment or a…
