Hawks have a lot of people to pay soon. Trae, Collins, Hunter, and Reddish.
Reddish has been cleared to play and could provide a big boost soon, particularly on defense with Hunter out. He’s been hurt and I haven’t seen him play in a while but he’s another young guy with exciting upside.
I just hate all these fake bandwagons hawks fans coming from nowhere..you weren’t here for 13-69 seasons..
Welcome to the world of Atlanta sports fandom.
I'm not sold on re-upping Reddish just yet. He needs to lose the doe eyed softness and play like a confident man. Hunter has shown some toughness and determination to go with his athleticism, I'm excited to watch his progress.
Come on dude, no team retains the enthusiasm of fans when they stink. How exactly do you determine if somebody is faking it ?
Nothing like cheering for a team that takes Marvin Williams over Chris Paul is there?😊
No bro..If you a real fan you are there for all the downs..And the Hawks had a lot of down seasons...It’s repulsive 🤢 all the bandwagons I see..I kinda wish the Hawks were still trash so we didn’t have to deal with bandwagons..
Obviously that move was bad in retrospect, but most teams had Williams rated higher than Paul going into the draft. What made it questionable at the time was The Hawks were in need of a PG.
Come on, how old are you ? I listened to The Braves on a transister radio when Hank Aaron was approaching 715. I feel no obligation to live and die with every game when they are playing like they have so far this season though. If you want to punish yourself, have at it, but don't expect me to join you.
I feel your pain. I've taken to not watching live (if they lose I feel it's been a waster of 3 hours and, at 77, I[m not sure how many hours I have left. If they win, I watch it the next day while doing rowing machine exercise. If they lose, I'll go for a nice hour walk in the early AM and hope for better the next day.
I don’t see anyone here claiming to be a diehard Hawks fans. Some of us are merely enjoying the ride as a very casual Hawks follower. Keyword casual. Can these casual observers, mainly GA sports followers, just enjoy what’s left of the playoffs? I won’t watch anymore if I don’t get your approval. Thanks in advance for any consideration in allowing me to watch as a casual GA sports observer.
I am a fan, I pull for every Atlanta pro team every year, but I don't feel angry that some only follow them at times like this. To the contrary, I hope Phillips sells out every game of this series and the finals if we're lucky enough to make it to them.
Anything is possible, but tonight's game is close to over at the half. Down 32 on the road is a big mountain to overcome. There can be a thin line between the sublime and the ridiculous with Trae. In the first half the careless turnovers and ill-advised shots outweighted the good.
