Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed.     At some point in the series, it was either the president or AD who essentially said that "Intentions were more important than actions"....which I thought was a particularly misguided (but apropos) statement for this entire series. Very clear to me that what these players (and coaches, including HC Brown) needed was "the adult in the room." He never showed up.

    For a number of reasons, I find this whole series rather sad and depressing.

    The new season of Last Chance U is easily it’s best to me. You can tell that Coach Beam loves his players, and that they love him back.

    The stories are powerful, and season 5 is a great example of how football can change, and influence lives for the better.

    I’m only a couple episodes in but I agree, they are following a coach that is a good person who cares about his guys. Very refreshing to see in a series that has historically had some mean SOB coaches.

    I just started it last night and watched the first episode. My wife even made a comment like "they all cuss like sailors but he's so much nicer than the other head coaches"
