To be fair the fourth down play would have been a touch down but for some inexplicable reason our blocker just stopped blocking and Freeman got stuffed before he made the edge

On replay the defender beat two different Falcons to make the stop. He just wanted it more.

On a somewhat different note, the game started at 9:10 and ended after 12:35. I know there was a weather delay, but the NFL should have started earlier on a week night. Maybe I’m just too old.

Typical Falcons. Get your hopes up then come up short. Officials are as bad as the Falcons.

If Sark takes the 3 points on the opening drive, the Falcons could've tied with a field goal on their last drive and went to overtime. And would've won without Bryant's missed PAT. Why you always take the points early in a game.

Don't think it was Sark's call to go for it on 4th down. That would be the HC's call.

Agreed, I just wanted to lash out more at Sark, because he’s trash. Point still stands, take the points and you have a good shot to win.

I hope you are referring to his abilities as on OC as opposed to commenting on his medical history/condition.

Hmm, I’ve been talking about his play calling and points. Yep, must be talking about his addiction. ???

Sark is the demise of every program. Has this guy been successful anywhere? I mean geez he even failed out of the Saban second chance at life program....

    He was good at Washington

I’m a realist and I also know football. I’ve seen team after falcon team and anyone who understands the game realizes that Sark can’t call plays to get anyone open. You can’t run vanilla routes and hope your players just “get open”. Look at Shanahan making Taylor Gabriel look like Wes Walker - now we can’t do anything but throw to Julio, which means he’s the ultimate athlete and he’ll get open. However, if you have a good coordinator everyone else will be open because you know the plays to call. Sark is the problem. PERIOD.

you hate to see that. kazee will have to step up but we’re lacking depth at a key position

Everyone on this thread is blaming Sark, but the rest of the sporting world is blaming Matt Ryan. Why? Because he's garbage.

He has finally been exposed! They killed him on twitter and in the media yesterday. They were savage talking about Matt being overrated.

The Falcons paying $150 mil for a noddle arm QB with no mobility or pocket presence.

Awful news, he has become a top 3 player at his position and might have been the best this season.
    It's a really big loss.

Yeah. That sucks. Kazee has looked pretty good at least other than getting banged for targeting penalties in the preseason.
