The Richt days are over & now the best will play because of a better mindset of being good isn't good enough. Smart knows what he is doing
I bet it happens less at OSU and Bama these days though. The culture has already been established. Everyone knows what the deal is. We seem to still be in the shift, probably at the tail end of the shift.
His mom seems to reply to any tweets about Terry for hours at a time. As stated above the goes through his Instagram and replies to all of the comments. The woman seems certifiably crazy.
He has had more touchdowns this year than his freshman year and junior year combined and he’s only received roughly 20 percent of the catches while doing so. Terry really hasn’t had a bad year since he missed games due to injury and then didn’t appear 100 percent healthy for a few games he did play in
Doesn’t help for her to be making threats of sorts in public, especially this week and during recruiting season. I’m sure Terry would not want his mom to do this. Reminds me of Hot Rod’s dad when he complained publicly. I don’t envy Kirby having to manage this type of stuff, and it reminds you this is one level up from high school.
She's already spending that signing bonus.

My exact thoughts. I still feel with a good combine Terry will get drafted. He’s got great hands and runs really good routes.

Kirby says every week that the best will play... So what’s that tell ya??? Godwin clearly isn’t the best receiver on the team, hell not even top 4. This isn’t peewee league, & your mama can’t do anything about it.
Maybe his mom will get on here and let us all know what is going on... maybe, just maybe his mom is @12ed or @nycdawg
I can imagine that Terry has had to deal with his mother's struggles for his entire life. Fortunately, he doesn't appear to have adopted her "victim mentality".
Terry has had a very disappointing senior season,this is a pass time for us, it's the key to a better life for Terry and his family. I understand where the lashing out is coming from, but it serves no purpose and might even hurt Terry's chances of succeeding.
Terry may well be the best on the team, but there are others in the running.
Richt's players were not spoiled or complainers.
