    According to 247:

     CLEM UGA

    2019 10 2

    2018 7 1

    2017 16 3

    2016 11 6

    2015 9 6

    2014 16 8

    2013 15 12

    2012 20 9

    2011 10 7

    2010 27 11

    2009 36 4

I'm not saying they won't be number 1 this year at all. I'm just not seeing them being some recruiting monster that is going to be fighting for every 5* we have our eyes on.

I don't know why my formatting didn't take, that looks ****, but it's the year and prospective class rank for the past 10 years. Highest they have been is 7, lowest is 36. Our lowest was 12.

Give me 2 nattys and we wouldn’t care about our class rankings either!

@ziggyholiday, with Clemson its hard to gauge their recruiting success based off those numbers. Clemson usually has far smaller classes then everyone else so their point total is going to be lower. Clemson is and will continue to be a thorn in our side until we can get atop the mountain. They've stolen KJ Henry, Xavier Thomas, Andrew Booth and Trevor Lawerence and almost got Clay Webb last year. Those are just the names I know off the top of my hand but I'm sure there's a few more

Can’t get em all. I think if we come out of this cycle with Arik, Washington, Paris, Sherman, and Ringo, I think we’ll forget all about Bresee and Murphy. I think the understatement of the 2020 cycle is locking up Broderick Jones. He’s stayed quiet for the most part but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

B Jones - per @JeffSentell - doesn’t do the recruiting grind and show others do. UGA and Pittman still in a great spot with him.

That’s good news. Pittman needs to do his magic to keep him. I’ve heard teams cooled off because he’s pretty set at UGA. Again, that may be wrong, just what I’ve read on here

I certainly don't pretend to know anything about anything. So there is that.

Looking at the raw data though, it doesn't seem to me, that they are this monster recruiting school. Good for sure, but nothing like Bama, OSU, UF, Mich etc. But you **** sure can't argue with their results on the field!

For grins I compared @SoFL_Dawg 's hot list ^^ to a Top 10 list from 247sports, published recently.

247sports had all of SoFla's recruits -either in its top 10 or its watch list - except for:

    WR- Jennings Hudson Jarrett

    ILB- Whitehead

    DB*- Williams Pouncey

and no mention of a K

On the other hand, SoFla did not have these that were on the 247sports notables:

JULIAN FLEMING, 5-STAR WR, CATAWISSA (PA.)

Seth McGowan, 4-star RB, Mesquite (Texas)

Jordan Burch, 5-star SDE, Columbia (S.C.)

Given the number of names, not too shabby. Discuss.

Will they be committing soon (in the next week) or will they take more visits?

Anybody know if the recruiting staff position firing/suspension is going to really affect the program? Or is this just one person having bad judgement? Not a good look for sure though

I would assume the staff is explaining it to recruits to ease their mind.

It will have very little to zero affect on recruiting. Unless something very inappropriate was occurring.

The relationship is with the coaches. Not the recruiting staff.

Anybody know if they’ll be hiring for the vacant recruiting position? Asking for a friend lol

I tried to start a thread on this to try and get more info but It was deleted. Any reason why? I’m just wanting to make sure this doesn’t affect us negatively or tremendously

Probably because another one was already active, with the same topic of discussion
