Blatantly political and destined to cause conflict. As I said I don't think anyone read the flag comment (or if they did did not have the courtesy to respond).
No need for name calling and bickering. People have different beliefs, thought processes, experiences, etc. That’s why we have different religions, political parties and other areas where differences of opinion are manifested.
When I was In the Army, soldiers came from many different backgrounds, but when the sh— hit the fan, we were BROTHERS!
What we have in common is we are all DAWG FANS!
Let’s save our name calling, bickering and hatred for where it belongs: FU, AU, UT, Bama and GT.

OP posted a news link about an opinion and statement by a former UGA player without any comment. Well within board guidelines until a certain individual took personal offense and tried and still trying to make it out more than it actually is, because we would not bow to his demand that we close it or delete it, even after it was explained that if it got out of hand it would be dealt with.
Political threads are not banned from the board. The content, purpose and posting will always be looked at and monitored. If it gets out of hand, just like fighting about grilling hotdogs, it will be addressed as it should be...
I don't fully follow you about the messaging. I'm just saying it's rare to see people of note to come out in conservative like support. Most often it goes against their own personal career goals as their usually shunned, mocked, and sometimes sabotaged.
Central America's faults do not solely lie with the USA. And they most certainly do not lie within me and my families fault. That is an attempt at inserting guilt and manipulating people into rolling over and let the world have it's way with us. There is no good reason this has been allowed for so long. But there's lots of bad ones. I do not want millions of people that do not know our history, language, and why certain freedoms are vitally important for the continuation. Having that many here like that will breed resentment, it will breed chaos and violence, it will breed anarchy. I'll fight this as much as I can, but I'm pretty disheartened. I think it went to far a long time ago and it's just a matter of time now. I truly fear for our future, I think this is that important. And sadly, the whole thing was completely unnecessary and easily fixed with closing some loop holes.
BUT, I do thank you for conversing with me about it some. You @YaleDawg keep your cool and I appreciate that.
