- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Words matter, but UGA has the Chubb-Michel paradigm. Chubb started the season as the featured back, unofficially, but Michel won the Rose Bowl O MVP and was drafted higher. There is enough glory and Sunday money for 2 at the UGA
Seems pretty clear that Milton's #1 on the board but to your point, we have more than enough historical data to show that these dual RB signings can work out well for both players. I just wouldn't let Evans or anyone else know we called him Robin.
Heck, just call the other guy Superman and this offense the Justice League.
I'd bet the mortgage that it's Paris Johnson.
By process of elimination, who else could it be if we're excluding Rogers? He had his chance but was apparently affected by the OSU negative recruiting. Wonder what might have changed for him?
Thanks for sharing on the article with Kipp. It further supports that Milton has and continues to be #1. I understand your point as to the description used but as posted here previously, UGA employs the RB by committee approach (Thunder and Lightning). Evans is aware of this.
We set the tone with physicality every game and Milton fits that role better than anyone in this class. Evans will get equal opportunities but Milton will likely start the games. In addition we will have Mcintosh who will be a factor.
We believe these RBs understand the big picture of limiting wear and tear, while having enough experience to prime themselves for the NFL. It only takes one money year, see Josh Jacobs this year and he shared the wealth.
We anticipate both Milton and Evans choosing UGA. Backup options to Evans; maybe I should say paired options with Milton include: Chaney, Lloyd, Edwards, Bigsby. Most important thing is that we’re in a great spot with our top priority.
He and Milton are close. Have same top 3 (OSU/LSU/UGA). Thought was Milton headed to OSU so now the thought is Milton to UGA and he wants back in.
Gotcha. should have been clearer that I felt like Paris thought he (Milton) was leaning OSU. Now he see's Milton headed to UGA (Think about MJ Sherman tweet last night) and remembers every thing he (Paris) liked about UGA and now wants to follow him to UGA. If I was staff I'd steer clear of this guy (Paris) seems like ideal Transfer Portal candidate and we are more than set at OL for 2020. I wouldn't trade anybody Committed or Raym/SVP for Paris (I assume staff feels same way).
@Denmen185 hey, I know it's buried on the board now, but real quick.
Jacoby Stevens was all set on UGA and even made a video. He took a visit in Bama and they started getting in his ear about why would you pick UGA? They're just a second rate version of us. So Stevens started rethinking his decision and ultimately picked LSU instead of us. Bama's negative recruiting didn't land them a Stevens, just cost us Stevens. It's that BS approach that makes me less than excited to have Milton setting foot on their campus.
Not sure if this has already been posted, but I heard but TG3II, Chubb, and Sony apparently all Skyped in to try to pitch Milton. This coincides with why he tagged them in that tweet. As Gurley famously said, "Cause Ima dawg. I was born a dawg, Ima die a dawg"
