Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

That's awesome.
And yes, wives and daughters like to hit curbs.
a hobby of mine is taking on a task or trying to improve something around the house and making it worse. I then spend additional time and money to just get it back to its original state.
Been doing it for years and somewhat a master at it. Really keeps the wife on her toes
I’m pretty good at storytelling and getting better at writing. Check out my blog at https://railstales.com/
Ran a marathon on every continent by age 40.
I speak 5 languages, 3 of them fluently including Russian and Turkish.
Yes it is.
Incredible
Appreciate it! Awesome furniture of yours as well. Really love that light grey hall tree.
When I'm not busy at work (painting portraits) I can balance a mean checkbook. I'm getting pretty good at it. My wife says if I keep improving she'll let me see the real one one day.
I spent 20 years as a promotion/marketing mgr. for major record labels (mostly Elektra). Met/spent time with many "rock stars" (and rock star wannabes/hopefuls). Nothing to show for it but a closet full of gold records and wear and tear on my body. Quit when my son was born. Not a lifestyle compatible with being a good parent IMO. Started my own business. Became a single parent when he was 13. Once I got him through school and he had a job, I fled the country. (now almost 9 years ago)
When I left, I gave him all the gold records and told him that he could do whatever he wanted with them. "I have no kind of sentimental attachment to them" He sold them on eBay.😂
As far as what I'm good at----I'm a very specialized assassin of Tona beer and Flor de Cana rum.
Where you ever involved in the austin music scene....stevie ray or Charlie Sexton......or old Texas music scene with Townes Van Zandt or Guy Clark etc.
No. I worked the Southeast. Will tell you though that my favorite of all time (as a fan) was Doug Sahm . IMO the king/founder of the Texas music scene.
I'm not familiar with Sahm. I will be tonight.
Doug had a hit around 1965 "She's About a Mover" as the Sir Douglas Quintet. Taking advantage of the "English Invasion" caused by The Beatles. I fell in love with them in the late 60's. Still Sir Douglas Quintet. He later did some solo stuff. Then had a band called The Texas Tornados. Basically the old band with Freddy Fender added. Sadly he passed a few years ago. Young. 54 Yrs. old I think. The Tornados did an Austin City Limits segment that's on YouTube
Well, I was raised in a family of singers, songwriters and musicians, so I play most mainstream musical instruments, mainly the piano and bass guitar and I've wrote some songs. We mostly do Gospel, but fool around with some other genres as well. My boys are better musicians than me. My oldest son can **** down a guitar like a professional. In fact, he's had some groups wanted him to go professional with them.
What's your favorite brand? Do you do much hunting?
Owned just about every PSE made before 2017...
And I am a deer hunter, not just a bow hunter. Learned to bow hunt because basketball season cuts into late-season hunting, so here in SC I needed the extra month early in the year.
I probably prefer bow hunting, but the Browning 30-06 my dad gave me for my 13th birthday makes several trips into the woods each year, too.
Backstraps are backstraps...
