Watched "The Wrong Missy" the other night on Netflix. Pretty funny comedy with David Spade if you're in for something light hearted towards silly. Does have some mature content......
Leaving today for 5 days at the beach. Clancy is usually too long as I'm a slow reader. Got any good suggestions?
Oh yeah I finally watched it last night. Very funny indeed
I didn't care for the closing bit about Denny's, but some of the stuff in the middle was cracking me up.
Also, I was driving to FL today and passed a horse farm. And my first thought was, and that's when I learned horses sleep laying down. That and, I don't think they're getting a divorce at all. I think we're here to move that dead horse.
I watched to new Jerry Seinfeld standup show. I thought it was clever, but not particularly funny. A couple of LOL moments, but that was it.
I will admit that I haven't read this entire thread, so I apologize if this is a repeat suggestion, but the wife and I watched "Knives Out" a few night ago and really enjoyed it. I thought Daniel Craig's southern accent could use some work, but other than that it was entertaining...
I agree I thought it was entertaining as well. Last night I finished Season 1 of 'Vikings'. I enjoyed it.
Me and the fiancé just knocked out both seasons of Cobra Kai. Highly recommended. Man that season 2 finale was heart wrenching. Can’t wait for season 3.
Is that the one about Latvian circus clowns who escape to Pittsburgh and open their own Dojo?
No, it's a type of sequel to The Karate Kid with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence all grown up and seeing how their lives were impacted by their final match. If you enjoyed Karate Kid, you would really enjoy this show as it goes deeper into that world.
The Social Dilemma on Netflix. Must watch!
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Amazon Prime's sequel to Napoleon Dynamite where they dive deeply into the life of Rex Kwan Do and the compelling and complex relationship between Kip and LaFawnduh.
Just finished up Godless on Netflix. A well done western tale with an awesome cast. Never thought I’d see Jeff Daniels playing a bad guy but he pulls it off.
Just finished "Away" on Netflix. It's about a three year NASA journey to Mars. It follows the 5 Astronauts on the Spaceship and their relationships with each other as well as the relationships of their families they left behind. Hillary Swank is the main character. I wasn't sold after the first episode, but kept with it through the whole first season and I'm glad I did. Looking forward to season two.
I watched it too. Pretty interesting. Liking fwd to #2.
