@SoFL_Dawg @CZCashvilleDawg do you think we hold onto Trezman?

I hope so. If there’s another player we want that will leave, it will be Trez.

Really depends on Dean. If he commites, 50-50 right now is my feeling. If not, 90-10 staying.

That being said I’d hate to lose him.

I don’t think we will lose Marshall. He could potentially be a de in the Brandon cox mold as well.

To clarify , Trez is wanted by this staff and if he were to not b part of it, it would be on his own accord and not a “push out”

SoFl, we have a lot of DL commits already. Would we be processing a 3 star if a target wants in? Or would they compete with all the other targets for those last 7 spots?

Question, a player graduates early say 3yrs, does/can he come off of scholarship and still be on the team?

Most go to grad school if they graduate early. If you remember Juwan Parker on the basketball team graduated early and took advantage of getting grad school paid for by his scholarship. I know guys who graduate in December of their senior year and take that spring in grad school and get a semester paid for

Right now, based on today, we don’t have a target that we’re really in it for on DL. Nathan Pickering has not made it to campus so we can’t trust that we’re really in it. I wouldn’t be shocked if we found a higher rated guy. I’m expecting change on the DL but it may not be a flip or upgrade. We may “lose” a player who we simply allow to walk. Going to depend on how other positions unfold and our numbers.

This may surprise many, but the DL who could walk based on recent chatter is actually Bill Norton. I’m not saying this is a final deal. Norton has had a less than stellar senior season and staff may feel he’s a better OL at this point (something we don’t need more of in 19). Initially, Logue was thought to be the player most likely to seek greener pastures but CTS is a big fan of his versatility and feels he will be a 285-300 DT. Walker and Tymon will be in class. Walthour, well it’s a good look if he’s in the class (politics). So we’ll have to let this play out but no one should panic if we see attrition on the DL (excluding Walker and Tymon).

Interesting...wouldn’t have guessed that one. Sad to hear about Norton. Makes sense on Walthour. Hoping he can exceed expectations when he gets on campus

We kind of have a good thing going with Tennessee recruits right now hope if he walks it's not too much of a push.

I think I heard Juwan was the only player in CBB last year that had a masters degree.

@brentwilson you are correct. I think he was working on his doctorate or another masters last year which is just incredible in itself.

If y’all want to see why CKS is such a great recruiter just go watch the Reel from the auburn game and fast goers to the 2:25 in the video and watch the end. You can’t tell me you didn’t want to commit to the G after watching the end.

2:25 on the game clock, right?
