Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Tending a porch fire today drinking michelob golden light (one of the best light beers). It's a balmy 51 and gonna be 35 tomorrow. But the Dairy Queen is within walking distance and i'm off quarantine starting tomorrow. So i'm enjoying the experience
Awesome Bro!! I'm sure you and the Misses feel a lot better being there. Hang tight as long as you guys can.
Btw- DQ has a fairly decent chili dog. Not as good as The Varsity by any means, but pretty good. Keep in mind the TP shortage though, after effects are pretty much the same........
One can do worse than DQ. At least it's "American food".
So far we've eaten takeout at every restaurant in town except Subway and DQ. And I'm guessing it'll happen this week. All the restaurants? Pizza Ranch, A&W, and Duffy's Roadhouse (wings)
bonus is still zero covid cases in this county
edit: forgot the steakhouse on the lake...i'm sure we will get takeout from there eventually
They have A&W? Don't remember anything about the food but the root beer is first class, EH!
it's pretty good...I housed some cheese curds last night. that will be happening again in the near future
Porn hub? LOL!!!!
It's unfortunate. But I have put up my camping tent with a small wood stove in the backyard next to my dog kennels to live away from my girl and my kids. They have over run every space in the house. At least my dogs get me. I'm never gonna say I hate going to work again.
So, l found out Friday that my first cousin in TN has the virus, as does her husband. It is suspected she caught the virus when travelling by plane to Atlanta to check on her brother (also my 1st cousin), as he had unexpected issues with his kidneys and liver in surgery.
She, for most of her life was a Doctor/Surgeon with Emory Hospital. She has since retired to, yes, as strange as this career life is, to record county music and has done quite well. She is an EXTREMELEY smart lady. She did a video on her battle with the virus and posted to facebook. It’s really, really sad and hits home. She was at home through the first few days of having the virus, but is now in ICU in NC. I have no further updates as of yet.
For you people who don’t understand the criticality of this virus, I would urge you to do a little more research. Yes, we have people who die every day for other reasons, but there is NO apples to apples comparison to Covid19. It is VERY, VERY contagious and VERY, VERY dangerous.
Take care Dawgnation and God Bless!
My father is clinging to life at this point, doctors doubt he will survive. He chose to not be intubated, which turns out to be wise as few are surviving intubation. We have not abandoned hope but realistically his chances are very low. The good news is that, should he succumb to this plague, we will see him on the other side.
Have two very close friends that have just survived the Virus. One in Los Angeles and the other on the SC side of Lake Hartwell. Both said its the worst illness they have ever gone through. One in his 40s and the other in his 50s, who was in ICU for almost a week. Got to say at first I was cavalier about this whole thing. Hey it was just a simple case of another flu that we could all get through. Not so much now. Have friends that have lost loved ones and many others that are dealing with serious problems that the virus has created. This bad boy isn't your Granddaddies flu. Stay safe and stay the course.
🙏
Special prayers for you and your family. Prayers for God to comfort all of you.
