Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

it's pretty good...I housed some cheese curds last night. that will be happening again in the near future
Porn hub? LOL!!!!
It's unfortunate. But I have put up my camping tent with a small wood stove in the backyard next to my dog kennels to live away from my girl and my kids. They have over run every space in the house. At least my dogs get me. I'm never gonna say I hate going to work again.
So, l found out Friday that my first cousin in TN has the virus, as does her husband. It is suspected she caught the virus when travelling by plane to Atlanta to check on her brother (also my 1st cousin), as he had unexpected issues with his kidneys and liver in surgery.
She, for most of her life was a Doctor/Surgeon with Emory Hospital. She has since retired to, yes, as strange as this career life is, to record county music and has done quite well. She is an EXTREMELEY smart lady. She did a video on her battle with the virus and posted to facebook. It’s really, really sad and hits home. She was at home through the first few days of having the virus, but is now in ICU in NC. I have no further updates as of yet.
For you people who don’t understand the criticality of this virus, I would urge you to do a little more research. Yes, we have people who die every day for other reasons, but there is NO apples to apples comparison to Covid19. It is VERY, VERY contagious and VERY, VERY dangerous.
Take care Dawgnation and God Bless!
My father is clinging to life at this point, doctors doubt he will survive. He chose to not be intubated, which turns out to be wise as few are surviving intubation. We have not abandoned hope but realistically his chances are very low. The good news is that, should he succumb to this plague, we will see him on the other side.
Have two very close friends that have just survived the Virus. One in Los Angeles and the other on the SC side of Lake Hartwell. Both said its the worst illness they have ever gone through. One in his 40s and the other in his 50s, who was in ICU for almost a week. Got to say at first I was cavalier about this whole thing. Hey it was just a simple case of another flu that we could all get through. Not so much now. Have friends that have lost loved ones and many others that are dealing with serious problems that the virus has created. This bad boy isn't your Granddaddies flu. Stay safe and stay the course.
🙏
Special prayers for you and your family. Prayers for God to comfort all of you.
Thoughts and prayers for your Dad and your family, @dragonslayer

Don't have a Swiss Chalet?

Juicy Lucy?
That’s only a thing in the twin cities unfortunately 😔
Seems like there are some positive signs out there right now. Cases/deaths been down the last couple days. I'm so impatient for something good to share I'm posting this after only 3 days. Totally possible it all jumps up again today/tomorrow, but i'm choosing optimism.
Hoping you and your are staying safe. I know things are tough, but this won't last forever
I'm with you @Kasey ...an N of 1 is either a new trend or an outlier in absence of more data so trying to pump the brakes on the US death # the past few days - particularly since it was a holiday weekend and there may have been a lag in reporting in some states - but with many of the big/hot zone states having reported already today, I'm cautiously optimistic that even the revised 60K projection may come down a bit more in the coming days.
Per the IMHE model updated on April 10:
4/11 - 1,907 projected v 1,830 actuals
4/12 - 1,910 projected v 1,528 actuals
4/13 - 1,895 projected v 1,357 actuals*
*1,357 = majority of states which have already published so far today - if one were to keep the 14 unreported states flat vs their reported counts from yesterday, this would add another 32 to the total (new total would be 1,389...23% lower than projected).
Nowhere close to being out of the woods yet but certainly a glimmer of hope.
Still hanging tight and healthy here. Still only 3 confirmed cases in our county. Traded a roll of TP for a full tank of gas, still have 2 half rolls behind the seat of of the truck. Hated to tap into my "out back" supply....but what the hey.....get to cruise the deserted streets.....😜
jk about the tp and cruising.....
Caution - I think it's likely that many hospitals and nursing homes didn't report updated numbers over the Easter weekend.
Today and tomorrow may have an element of catch-up.
